Introduction and Earth Day

So I think this will be the thing... doing it by email.

I went and visited and I noticed that the last one was in 2007. Thats a long time ago.

I suppose now I should better introduce myself. First and foremost, I am Roy - husband to Christie and father to 3 (almost 4) children. I may or may not discuss them in detail. Second, I am pretty good at my job... I am Software Configuration Management and I work with tools like Clearcase, Clearquest, Maven, and Hudson. (Eyes glazed over from that?)

Something I plan to discuss on here is my involvement in Guardians of Azeroth. I am currently the guildmaster of this guild on Runetotem (World of Warcraft). The true owner is really Forob, my brother in law (who was first a good friend before he even dated my sister). He handed it over to me when he got married, I think because he didnt think he would have enough time to do anything with it anymore... Well I keep him on as co-guildmaster anyhow. I still consider it mostly his guild.

Anyhow. Others in the guild include my father and sister. Christie used to be in it, but now she is off in a raiding guild. We will see how that goes, but supposedly she is there for learning fights and how to run raiding in a guild, and bring that info back to us.

OH... Almost forgot it is Earth day. I must write about that.

The Earth's climate is changing - but not from Man. The data points I am seeing lead me to believe that we are beginning to experience a long over-due magnetic pole shift. In a set interval of time, the Earth has shifted north and south poles. The most alarming evidence of this to me is the fact that ice is being added to the eastern coast of Antarctica faster than it is melting on the western coast of Antarctica. The Pole Is Moving!

Noone knows how long it takes to do a polar shift. We may have some catastrophic events take place as a result during the movement. There is NOTHING we can do other than adapt to the changes the Earth is bringing our way. The earth could really care less about the carbon dioxide given out by cows and fat people (I am fat by the way). Anyone who tells you that you can spend money in any way to avert disaster is a liar or very misguided. If it was really that important, people would labor for free to fix it.

But anyhow, you should look it up - look up the regular magnetic polar shifts. the magnetics are caused by the spinning of the earth... and something is shifting (not atmospheric but internal to the mantle and core).

OK, that ends my environmental rant. I should get going so I can make the train and head home.
